Wheaten Loaf

  • 2 teacups white flour,
  • 2 teacups wheaten flour,
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda,
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar,
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt,
  • 2 ozs. margarine,
  • 1 dessertsp. syrup or sugar
  • 1½ teacups sweet milk.

Cook 1½ hours. Turn at half time
