Lemon and Orange Sultana Cake

  • 4 ozs. S.R. flour
  • 5 ozs. Condensed milk (sweet)
  • 3 ozs. margarine
  • 3 ozs. sultanas
  • grated peel
  • 1 tablesppon lemon or orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons milk or water
  • 1 egg

Cream the Condensed milk and margarine thoroughly. Beat in the eggg. Add grated rind and juice. Fold in sultanas and flour (mixed). Moisten with milk to make a soft dough. Put in hot oven, then bake for 1½ hours with moderate heat.
