Flapjacks.

  • 8 ozs. rolled oats
  • 1 saltspoon salt
  • 4 ozs. butter or margarine
  • 1 oz. castor sugar
  • 2½ tablespoons syrup

Beat butter and sugar to a cream. Heat syrup and add, then oats and salt. Turn into flat greased tin and press into corners evenly. Bake from 30 - 45 mins. Till crisp and light brown.
