Walnut Loaf

  • Take 3 cups flour (12 ozs),
  • ½ cup brown sugar (2 ozs),
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts,
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder,
  • 1 well beaten egg,
  • 1 large cupful milk,

Do not have batter too stiff. Mix well, put into greased tin and allow to rise for ¾ hour or a little more.
